Ravelry is a yarn crafters dream. They have a bunch of free patterns. You can keep track of your yarn stash, crochet hooks, a library to add your digital patterns that you get from Ravelry. You can also join groups, designers pages and ask/answer other members questions. You can even post your own pattern designs that are free or those that you decide to charge for.
Craftsy has many free and paid patterns, you can keep them in a library called "my patterns". They have classes that you can take (for a fee). These classes are very nice. I took a bread making class and it was fantastic. They have classes on a broad range of topics.
